A landmark of theme park history, the Carousel of Progress revolves its entire audience around four stage scenes spanning the 20th century. Our recreation rotates the full theater ring on a custom show system, while an animatronic cast — John, Sarah, Rover and all — performs each act with synchronized dialogue, lighting, and music.
Every appliance gag and set dressing across all four scenes is a custom model, and yes, the finale still gets stuck on repeat in your head. As the oldest continuously-performed show in Disney history, it was an essential early build for Tomorrowland.
The theater revolves continuously throughout park hours — new audiences board about every 5 minutes.
