The Recreation

Perched atop the Rockettower Plaza at the heart of Tomorrowland, our Astro Orbiter recreation lifts Guests more than twenty blocks above the ground on custom-modeled rockets that orbit a whirling galaxy of planets. The tower, gantry elevator, and every orbiting sphere were rebuilt block-by-block from real-world reference photography at true 1:1 scale.

A custom ride system spins the rocket fleet at an authentic rate while Guests remain fully in control of their view, and a synchronized audio loop wraps the platform in the hum and chime of Tomorrowland after dark. It is one of the best photo spots on the server — especially at night, when Space Mountain glows on the horizon.
